I dont know about you, but I cannot live without email.  What did we ever do before email?  Snail mail was the way to go, but my goodness is it slow.  Plus what if you have to send a message to multiple people?  Well, email has definitely made our lives easier (to most people at least, I know some people whose jobs are nothing but answering emails, but I digress).

The history of email is interesting, mostly because I was shocked it was around as long as it was.  No one is certain who truly created email, but it was started sometime back in the 1960s when computers were finally networked together through networks such as ARPANET.

To use email is simple enough.  Most people use some free email service, such as Yahoo, Gmail, or any other web-based email service.  Many use email software such as Outlook to send or receive their emails.  This requires some more complex setup instructions that we will discuss on another page.  Most office email use this for their email systems.
